Subjects We Teach
We provide online tuition services with a comprehensive curriculum aligned with the UK national standards for students in years 1-6. Our tutoring service focuses on essential subjects like Mathematics, English, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning. Our experienced tutors use effective teaching methods to build confidence and competence, helping students succeed in the 11 Plus examination.
GL Assessment
GL papers assess four subjects:
GL Assessment, a test provider, produces 11 plus exams that are commonly utilized by the majority of UK grammar schools and some independent schools for selecting students for admission.
Grammar school exams offered by GL Assessment are typically paper-based and non-adaptive, meaning the difficulty level remains constant regardless of the student's responses.
The eleven plus exam is specifically designed to be challenging, assessing which students would thrive in a selective school environment. It aims to challenge the top 25% of the year group, with some questions covering material not yet taught in the classroom.

ISEB
The ISEB Common Pre-Test is an entrance exam provided by the Independent Schools Examination Board (ISEB).
It's used by selective private senior schools to assess a child's academic potential and help decide whether they are likely to thrive at the school. Most schools use it for 11+ and/or 13+ entry.
Some schools use the ISEB Common Pre-Test as a first-round entrance exam, followed by their own test papers and an interview.
The ISEB is multiple-choice and taken on a computer.
The exam is adaptive. This means that the questions get more challenging depending on how your child is performing.
11 plus
The 11 plus is an entrance test used by UK grammar schools. It's used to assess whether a grammar school is likely to suit a child. Children normally take the exam in the autumn term of Year 6.

Schools and consortiums choose their own 11 plus papers from English, maths, verbal and non-verbal reasoning topics.

Our content is grounded in the Key Stage 2 national curriculum in England. We cover English, maths and science for Years 3–6 (ages 7–11).
Our verbal and non-verbal reasoning content is mapped to major exam boards. Reasoning is not usually taught in primary schools. Your child can learn everything they need to know about verbal and non-verbal reasoning.
